Department of Industry – Metering roadshow: Dubbo

17 July, 2019 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

The NSW Government remains committed to rolling out robust new rules for non-urban water metering to improve the standard and coverage of water meters across NSW.

The Department is holding a series of public information sessions across NSW in July and August, 2019 to help water users understand what they need to do to comply with the new rules.

At each session, representatives from the Water Renewal Taskforce and the Natural Resources Access Regulator will present on the new rules to help water users understand what they need to do to comply. We will also seek feedback on minor amendments to the Water Management (General) Regulation 2018, primarily relating to reporting requirements. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions.

A session will be held in Dubbo on Wednesday, 17 July:

  • Where: Western Plains Cultural Centre, 76 Wingewarra St, Dubbo
  • When: 10:30am – 1:00pm
