More than just cotton...

Our future depends on it!

Growers

Macquarie Cotton Growers Association (MCGA) are not just about growing cotton – we are diversified farmers actively involved in our communities as part of a sustainable and prosperous region. Our future depends on it.

Did you know the MCGA is the oldest Cotton Grower Association in Australia? Formed in 1993 to provide a united voice in addressing concerns by local communities as well as working on research priorities within the industry.

Our group represents over 50 cotton growers and irrigators in the Macquarie Valley, encompassing Narromine, Trangie, Nevertire, Warren and Nyngan.  This organisation is self funding, receiving no ongoing support from any government bodies, and funding for projects is sourced on a needs basis.
